This is the latest 00 model from the Pendle Forest Model Railway Society and is set in North West England towards the end the 1960s. It owes its inspiration to Morecambe Promenade – a site frequently visited by members when steam trains were still in operation. A modest size station with four platform roads sees a fair amount of operations with healthy long distance and local traffic whilst the small goods yard is kept busy with parcels and mixed goods workings. The platform canopy is hand built as is the approach viaduct, the viaduct being based on Cornholme Viaduct on the line to Todmorden.
Automatic power feed selection and full route switching make for smooth arrival and departure moves, point motors are SEEP with diode matrix operation, the buildings are modified card kits
